Calling all Application Developers

on September 29, 2010 by Scott Carter

Mobile application developers are gearing up for Sprint’s 10th annual Developer Conference. This year’s event is October 26-28 in Santa Clara, California. If you haven’t registered yet, you can do it here.

New this year, the first day of the conference will feature a special business keynote by Paget Alves, President of the Business Market Group, along with the October 26th sessions that will help you learn more about why partnering your business with Sprint creates a winning team.

The three-day event offers hands-on coding sessions for Android, Microsoft, and RIM operating systems, in addition to an interactive demo room featuring 4G and M2M applications. More than 70 breakout sessions led by industry experts and Sprint subject matter experts will feature discussions about enterprise, business, and M2M solutions focused around 4G. Dan Hesse, Sprint CEO, will deliver the keynote address.

In the spirit of “openness,” the event will also offer multiple gathering areas where attendees can meet to share information, collaborate, or join a community discussion.

The event is open to the entire development community. Sprint encourages any developer interested in exploring ways to create new applications for its 4G network to attend. The purpose of the conference is to help developers learn about the Sprint network, its customers, and how to create 4G applications.
