Live Discussion: Seven Ways to Deliver Value with Unified Communications

on September 21, 2009 by Mark Ivey

Nancee Ruzicka (Stratecast) and Mike Browne (Sprint) will be talking live about unified communications Thursday, September 24, at noon Central Time. The hour-long conversation will address Seven Ways to Deliver Value with UC, exploring compelling business benefits.

The discussion will focus on how Sprint implements UC in its own operations. Sprint  sells UC-enabling solutions to enterprise customers, but this session zeroes in on how it’s “walking the walk” within its own company.

Sprint’s UC deployment has effectively integrated 4,000 employees’ desktop phones, voice mail, fax, and Internet with email, instant messaging, conferencing, laptops, and Sprint mobile devices. The result is a seamless network that allows employees to work from virtually anywhere. Ruzicka and Browne will explore this program in detail.

Browne will also share other benefits Sprint has realized from its UC deployment such as a savings of more than a million square feet of office space. This has cut power consumption and slashed real estate expenses, saving the company millions of dollars.

Don’t miss it. Tune in Thursday at noon Central Time. To register click here.
