Sprint's Dan Jacobson, Manager, Fixed Mobile Convergence, discusses Mobile Integration benefits with customer Michael Higgins (Harris Corporation)
Sprint spent three days at VoiceCon Orlando this week (March 30-April 1) demonstrating the value of its converged solutions technology to hundreds of users.
The conference was geared to helping IT managers make the best decisions possible about IP Telephony, converged networks and unified communications, so Sprint’s technology and topics were right on target.
Dan Jacobson, Senior Portfolio Manager and Seamless Enterprise blogger, presented on the FMC Panel, discussing how Sprint’s Mobile Integration solution provides increased cost efficiencies, improved employee productivity and a simplified network architecture. He and other Sprint representatives showed customers how to best leverage Mobile Integration, UC and related technologies for their own enterprises. Their message was well received."Several people were pleasantly surprised Sprint was offering an FMC solution using the cellular network," says Jacobson. "They thought only WiFi solutions would be offered by 3rd party vendors."
