Joe Hamblin oversees Sprint’s internal Enterprise Communications team, which is responsible for strategy, engineering, and tier 3 support for Microsoft Exchange Email, Microsoft Office Communications Server for IM, voice, video and collaboration. Hamblin also manages Sprint’s internal mobile email access, Internet Access Gateways, Cisco TelePresence, and Polycom solutions. His primary strategic focus for Sprint is reducing IT OpEx with the rollout of Unified Communications and eliminating Sprint’s traditional PBX infrastructure. Hamblin has been with Sprint since 1987, enjoying a long career in the rapidly evolving world of voice and data networks. He has an MBA from Rockhurst University.
